Amanita muscaria, also known as the fly agaric, fly amanita, or toadstool, is a well-known kind of mushroom. In fact, perhaps many people will recognize it due to its bright colours, its toxicity, or its use in pop culture. Although its red and white colouration, which can be related to Christmas, is very beautiful, its toxicity can cause hallucinations and, though rare, deaths.
